Sacramento, Calif. – One person was seriously injured in a three-vehicle collision on Highway 99 in Sacramento Monday morning.
The California Highway Patrol said the traffic car accident was reported at around 8:06 a.m. on the northbound State Route 99 just north of Mack Road on-ramp.
Officers arrived at the crash site and found a red small sedan, a white GMC pickup truck, and a white Ford pickup truck. The events leading up to the collision were not immediately established.
One person suffered serious injuries on neck and head and was transported to Kaiser South Hospital for treatment.
No additional information about the wreck was provided.
