1 Hospitalized after Saratoga Motorcycle Accident on Highway 9 at Pierce Road
Saratoga, California (August 28, 2022) – A woman was hospitalized with severe injuries after a multi-vehicle accident involving a motorcycle that happened Sunday afternoon in Saratoga, the California Highway Patrol said.
The pileup happened at about 2 p.m. on Highway 9 near Pierce Road.
A motorcycle, a Toyota Rav4 and a third car were involved in the accident.
Two people were lying in traffic lanes after the crash.
Firefighters responded to the scene and transported a 29-year-old woman to the hospital with a broken leg.
The Toyota was towed away with side damage and a broken front tire.
CHP is investigating the cause of the collision.
