Apache Junction, Ariz. – Authorities are investigating a serious injury wrong-way collision on Highway 60 in Apache Junction Saturday night.
The police responded to the traffic collision on the westbound State Route 60 near South Idaho Road at around 10:46 p.m.
Responding crews arrived at the scene and found a wrong-way vehicle had crashed with a vehicle traveling in the right direction.
One person suffered serious injuries in the accident.
More details about the accident were not available.
