1 Seriously Hurt in DUI Bonsall Car Accident on Highway 76 and Vía Montellano
Bonsall, California (August 20, 2022) – The California Highway Patrol is investigating a major DUI multi-vehicle crash that left at least one person with severe injuries late Friday night in Bonsall.
The accident occurred at around 11:58 p.m. on August 19, on eastbound Highway 76, just west of Via Montellano.
Per the report, three vehicles collided for unknown reasons. The crash's impact sent one of the cars into a ditch.
Responding emergency crews aided at least one person severely injured in the collision. The name of the patient and their current condition were not immediately released.
Police confirmed that the accident was a DUI-related crash.
Tow trucks were requested to remove the vehicles from the collision.
