1 Injured in San Jose Car Accident on Highway 101 near Tully Road
San Jose, California (September 1, 2022) – Authorities are investigating a two-car accident that injured one person on Wednesday night in San Jose.
According to the CHP officials, the accident happened at around 9:18 p.m. on August 31, on southbound Highway 101, just north of Tully Road.
Per the report, a white sedan and a Toyota Prius collided for reasons still under investigation. The sedan sustained significant front-end damage following the collision. The Toyota was on its side and about 5ft down an embankment following the crash.
Fire officials and medical personnel arrived to attend to the injured parties. The total number of patients and their current condition were not immediately provided.
The vehicles blocked the slow lane, and lanes numbers 5 and 6 following the crash. The roadway was cleared as of 10:23 p.m.
Further details concerning this crash were not released.
The incident remains under investigation.
