Police said a one-year-old boy was playing in the front yard with his siblings and a parent when he was hit by a driver who was pulling into the driveway
Lynnwood, CA – A child was hit and killed by a vehicle at the driveway of a home in Lynnwood on Thursday evening, according to the Snohomish County Sheriff's Office.
The incident took place in the 13900 block of Beverly Park Road at about 7 p.m. May 30.
Police said a one-year-old boy was playing in the front yard with his siblings and a parent when he was hit by a driver who was pulling into the driveway.
The child was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Drugs were suspected to have played a role in the incident.
The driver was booked into the Snohomish County Jail for vehicular manslaughter.
The accident is under investigation.
