Lancaster, CA.- A 12-year-old boy was killed in a collision that took place in Lancaster on Wednesday evening, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The incident happened on 200th Street East and East Avenue G-8 at about 5:50 p.m. July 30.
According to the CHP, a black Honda Civic and a white Dodge Challenger were involved in the incident.
A boy was pronounced deceased at the scene.
A second party was transported to a hospital in unknown condition.
Authorities are conducting an investigation into the accident.
