Rosemont, CA.– A teenage girl was sent to a hospital with major injuries after being struck by a vehicle in Rosemont on Monday afternoon.
According to a report by the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened just before 4 p.m. December 16.
Two 14-year-old girls were reportedly in the crosswalk running across the roadway against a red light when one of them was hit by a vehicle.
The victim was rushed to hospital with major injuries and was expected to recover.
Authorities are conducting an investigation into the collision.
