Jose Espinoza Killed in Modesto Big Rig Crash on Carver Road and West Briggsmore Avenue
Modesto, California (February 3, 2022) – Jose Espinoza, 16, and his two friends were identified as victims of a fatal crash involving a big rig in Modesto on Tuesday evening, according to a local news source.
The other two victims were cousins Jayden Chhue, 15, and Aalvin Chhue, 17.
Their vehicle collided with a big rig at the intersection of Carver Road and West Briggsmore Avenue at about 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday, February 1.
According to the report, two of the teens died at the scene while the third teen succumbed to his injuries at a hospital.

The report indicated that Espinoza and his friends were high school students at Grace M. Davis High School.
The other driver was not injured.
Authorities are still investigating the incident.
