19 Children Hospitalized after Car Crashed into Shasta County Preschool
Shasta County, California (March 4, 2022) – At least 19 children were hospitalized after a vehicle crashed into a daycare in Shasta County on Thursday afternoon.
The accident happened at around 2:30 p.m., in the area of Balls Ferry Road and Martha Street, according to a report by the authorities.
An SUV reportedly slammed into the Great Adventure Christian Preschool in unclear circumstances.
Officials say fourteen of the injured children were transported to the hospital by ambulances. The majority of the children were hospitalized as a precaution.
Vehicle Strikes Shasta County Daycare, 19 Children Hurt
At least two adult staff members were inside the building at the time of the accident.
Two people were inside of the blue SUV when it crashed. They remained at the scene and cooperated with the authorities.
