Worker Seriously Injured in Fresno County Accident along Table Mountain Road
Fresno County, California (January 19, 2022) – A Hobart worker was rushed to a hospital with severe burns after an explosion at a building under construction in Fresno County on Monday afternoon, according to CAL FIRE.
The incident happened at the Table Mountain Resort and Casino building under construction along Table Mountain Road on Monday, January 17.
Gas is suspected to have caused the explosion in the building. A sprinkler system helped to prevent fire from spreading to other parts of the building.
Worker Seriously Hurt in Fresno County Explosion along Table Mountain Road
A 19-year-old Hobart worker sustained severe burns to his arms and Torso. He was airlifted to CRMC and went into surgery.
Other workers and construction crew were evacuated from the building following the explosion.
Hobart is a company that specializes in restaurant equipment.
The authorities are investigating to determine the cause of the accident.
