Two Arrested after Deadly San Francisco Motorcycle Accident on Highway 101 at I-80 Connector

San Francisco, California (June 7, 2022) – Two people were arrested after a crash involving a motorcycle early Tuesday morning in San Francisco, according to a report by the California Highway Patrol.
The incident took place on the Highway 101 connector to Interstate 80 at about 3:30 a.m.
CHP said a man in his 30s was riding a motorcycle on the highway when he was involved in a crash and was ejected onto the I-80 ramp to southbound Highway 101.
The rider is believed to have been trying to avoid a crash with a DUI driver when the accident happened.
The rider fell onto a moving vehicle and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Two drivers were arrested on suspicion of DUI.
The crash is under investigation.
