2 Injured in Head-On Collision on Highway 138 near Coriander Drive in Hesperia

Hesperia, California (December 25, 2021) – Two people were critically injured in a Christmas morning collision in Hesperia.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at about 7:15 a.m. on Highway 138 between Coriander Drive and Summit Post Office Road.
A silver Dodge Avenger and a black Honda Accord are reported to have collided head-on for unknown reasons.
Firefighters responded to the incident and extricated at least one person who was trapped in the wreckage.
One of the injured male drivers was airlifted by Mercy Air helicopter to a trauma center.
The other male driver was transported by ground ambulance to Loma Linda University Medical Center.
The highway was temporarily blocked as the officers conducted a major accident investigation.
