Two Critical after Keene Truck Accident on Highway 58
Keene, California (September 21, 2022) – Two people sustained major injuries in a big rig collision that took place east of Keene in Kern County early Tuesday morning, according to the Kern County Fire Department.
The collision occurred just before 1:30 a.m. September 20, on Highway 58.
Three semi-trailers were involved in the wreck on the eastbound side of the highway.
Firefighters responded to the scene and rescued one person trapped in the wreckage.
Authorities said two parties were hospitalized with critical injuries.
The identities of the involved parties were not immediately released.
Authorities are working to find out what caused the big rig collision.
