Two Pedestrians Injured in Oak Park Accident at Kanan Road and Smoke Tree Avenue

Oak Park, California (September 13, 2022) – Two pedestrians were struck and injured by a vehicle at an intersection in Oak Park on Sunday evening, according to the authorities.
The wreck happened at Kanan Road and Smoke Tree Avenue at around 7:52 p.m. on September 11.
According to the report, a 2005 Toyota Camry was heading north on Kanan Road when the driver failed to stop for a red light and collided with two girls who were walking across the intersection.
The victims, both aged 17 and from Oak Park, were transported to Los Robles Regional Medical Center with moderate injuries.
The driver of the Toyota, a 71-year-old Palmdale woman, was uninjured and stayed at the scene of the collision.
The crash caused a closure of the intersection as authorities investigated the incident.
The investigation is ongoing.
