2 Injured in San Diego Accident on Interstate 8 near Mission Center Road
San Diego, California (August 5, 2022) – Two people were taken to the hospital after a van and a city truck collided Thursday morning in San Diego, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The crash took place at about 9:40 a.m. on westbound Interstate 8 near Mission Center Road.
As per the report, a white city truck was reportedly attempting to assist a driver with stopping when a white full-size work van that was swerving appeared to have lost brakes and hit the truck.
Two occupants of the van were transported to the hospital with unspecified injuries.
No other details were given, but CHP is investigating.
