2 Sustains Minor Injuries in West Sacramento Car Accident on Highway 50 near Jefferson Boulevard Off-Ramp
West Sacramento, California (June 30, 2022) – Two people were taken to the hospital after a three-vehicle collision that happened Thursday morning in West Sacramento, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The pileup took place at around 8:19 a.m. on eastbound Highway 50, just west of the Jefferson Boulevard off-ramp.
According to the report, three cars were involved in the accident for unknown reasons.
Yolo County firefighters and paramedics responded to the scene following the crash.
Two people who sustained minor injuries were transported to the hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
Authorities did not immediately determine the cause of the collision.
The No. 1 lane of the highway remained blocked as investigators worked the scene.
