, California (May 25, 2022) – A Wednesday afternoon San Diego crash sent two people to the hospital, the California Highway Patrol reported.

The pileup was reported at about 1:30 p.m. on northbound , near Sea World Drive.

A white SUV and two other vehicles were involved in the collision.

Two people were transported to the hospital with minor injuries.

The cause and manner of the collision were not immediately determined.

The report also said there was another collision on northbound 5 Freeway just south of Sea World Drive and about a quarter of a mile just north of the other traffic crash. Three vehicles were on the right-hand shoulder near the scene. No more details were available about that accident.
