2 Hospitalized After Traffic Collision in Santa Rosa

, Calif. – Two people were hospitalized after a that happened Wednesday afternoon at an intersection in Santa Rosa, the California Highway Patrol said.

The collision took place at about 3:12 p.m. at Mark West Springs Road and Riebli Road.

A red Toyota Tacoma pickup and a gray Toyota Camry were involved in the accident, blocking the westbound lane of Mark West Springs Road.

Two occupants of the Camry were transported to Sutter Santa Rosa Regional Hospital with minor injuries.

The pickup truck was towed away with a broken left front axle and the Camry with major front-end damage.

Investigators are working to establish the cause of the accident.
