Investigators determined that the Scion was traveling westbound on Rohnert Park Expressway and the Toyota truck was headed northbound on Commerce Boulevard when they collided in the intersection
Rohnert Park, Calif. – Authorities are investigating a DUI vehicle collision at Rohnert Park Expressway in Rohnert Park early Sunday morning.
According to the Rohnert Park Department of Public Safety, the incident happened at around 2:37 a.m. at Rohnert Park Expressway and Commerce Boulevard.
Investigators determined that the Scion was traveling westbound on Rohnert Park Expressway and the Toyota truck was headed northbound on Commerce Boulevard when they collided in the intersection.
The driver of the Toyota pickup, Rohnert Park resident Maria Valencia, 44, had two men in the vehicle with her, one of which was uninjured and one of which who sustained moderate injuries and was taken to the hospital.
The Scion's driver was hospitalized with serious injuries to his lower extremities.
Valencia was arrested for showing signs of impairment.
More details regarding the mishap was not provided.
The wreck is under investigation.
