Avondale, Ariz. – Two drivers were injured in a semi-truck collision in Avondale on Friday morning, according to the Arizona Department of Public Safety.
The incident took place on 2 Hurt in Big Rig Crash on 2 Hurt in Big Rig Crash on I-10 near Avondale Boulevard.
According to the report, a FedEx semi-truck and an Amazon semi-truck were involved in the crash on the westbound side of I-10.
One of the big rigs burst into flames following the accident.
Both drivers were treated for minor injuries.
Several lanes of the interstate were shut down as authorities cleared the crash scene.
The cause of the collision is under investigation.
