Two Injured in Indio Crash on Indio Boulevard
Indio, California (July 4, 2022) – Two people were injured in a multi-vehicle collision in Indio on Saturday night, according to authorities.
The incident was reported just before 10 p.m. on July 2, in the 82200 block of Indio Boulevard.
It's unclear what caused the three vehicles to collide in the area near the Coachella Valley History Museum.
At least two people were trapped in the wreckage and were rescued by emergency crews who responded to the scene.
The two were transported to hospitals with unspecified injuries.
A section of Indio Boulevard was closed as authorities worked at the scene.
The cause of the crash remained under investigation.
