Two Hurt in Cajon Pass Accident on I-15 Freeway near Highway 138
Cajon Pass, California (September 11, 2022) – Two people were injured, one of them critically, in a Sunday afternoon traffic collision that occurred on the I-15 Freeway in the Cajon Pass, according to the authorities.
The incident happened just before 12:33 p.m. north of Highway 138.
A black GMC pickup truck and a black Range Rover were involved in the collision that caused the Range Rover to overturn several times before stopping on a dirt slope on the right shoulder of I-15.
One person is believed to have been ejected by the impact of the collision.
Two parties were transported by ambulances to local hospitals. One of them had minor injuries while the second had major injuries.
A speed sign was damaged in the incident.
The CHP is conducting an investigation into the collision.
