Desert Hot Springs, Calif. – Two people were injured, one seriously, following a two-vehicle traffic collision at an intersection in Desert Hot Springs Friday evening, according to a police report.
The accident occurred around 5:30 p.m. on December 29, in the area of Pierson Boulevard and Atlantic Avenue.
According to Cal Fire, two people were injured in the crash. Both patients were taken to the hospital, one with serious injuries and one with moderate injuries.
The area of Pierson Boulevard and Atlantic Avenue in Desert Hot Springs was shut down for several hours while Desert Hot Springs Police and Cal Fire worked at the scene.
An investigation to determine the cause of the crash is underway.
