Two Hurt in Maricopa Crash on John Wayne and Desert Cedars/Alterra Parkways
Maricopa, AZ.- Two drivers were injured in a car accident that took place on Maricopa on Friday, according to the Maricopa Police Department.
The wreck occurred on John Wayne and Desert Cedars/Alterra Parkways at about 8:30 a.m. May 23.
A Maricopa Unified School District Chevy Silverado truck was making a northbound turn at the intersction when it was hit by a white Kia Soul that failed to stop for a red light while traveling southbound on John Wayne Parkway, according to police.
Both drivers were taken to the hospital with unknown injuries.
The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
