Bakersfield, CA. – Two people were injured in a head-on collision that happened in California City on Saturday morning.
The accident happened on a rural dirt road south of Jawbone Canyon Road at around 10:56 a.m., according to the Kern County Fire Department.
Two UTVs collided head-on in unclear circumstances.
The driver of one of the UTVs was airlifted to the hospital in critical condition.
The driver of the second UTV was taken to the hospital in unknown condition.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
