Klamath Falls, Ore. – Two people were hospitalized with injuries after a two-vehicle collision at an intersection in Klamath Falls Tuesday night.
The Klamath County Sheriff's Office said the accident happened at around 10 p.m. on February 6 at Madison Street and South 6th Street.
Reportedly, an officer from KCSO attempted to conduct a traffic stop to a vehicle driven by Vincent Michael Reilly, 39, and fled the scene.
Shortly, the suspect failed to stop a red a sign at the intersection and was hit by a westbound Ford Explorer which had the right way.
Reilly and two parties in the other car were transported to a hospital for treatment.
Reilly was treated and was taken to Klamath County Jail on suspicion of DUI, reckless driving, attempt to elude police, two counts of third-degree assault, two counts of recklessly endangering another person, and unlawful possession of Methamphetamine.
More details regarding the collision was not immediately established.
The crash remains under investigation.
