Two Hurt in Omak Accident near State Route 97 and State Route 215

Omak, WA – Two people were injured in a collision near Omak on Friday afternoon, according to a report by the Washington State Patrol.

The incident took place on State Route 97 and State Route 215 at about 1:12 p.m. May 24.

The WSP said a 58-year-old man was driving on SR 97 when he failed to stop for a stop sign at the intersection and collided with a vehicle traveling eastbound on SR 215.

The driver who failed to stop for the stop sign and a passenger were taken to Midvalley Hospital for treatment of their injuries.

Another vehicle was hit by debris from the crash.

No other injuries were reported.

The WSP is investigating the accident.
