Two Hurt in Del Mar Heights Accident on Mango Drive
San Diego, California (July 16, 2022) – Two people were injured in an accident involving an e-bike in the Del Mar Heights neighborhood of San Diego Friday night, according to the authorities.
The wreck happened just before 10:26 p.m. July 15, in the 13800 block of Mango Drive.
A man in his 50s was reportedly riding an e-bike at a high rate of speed north on Mango Drive when he collided with an 82-year-old man walking west on the roadway.
The rider of the e-bike and the pedestrian sustained serious injuries in the crash and were taken to hospital for treatment.
The authorities are investigating the collision.
