The causing driver was airlifted to an area hospital for treatment while the second driver was transported by ambulance

Longview, Wash. – Two people were injured in a head-on collision that happened near Longview on Tuesday.
The collision happened on Highway 4 near Bunker Hill Road, according to the Washington State Patrol.
Two vehicles reportedly collided head-on in unclear circumstances.
The driver who caused the accident was airlifted to an area hospital for treatment.

The second driver was also transported to the hospital with unknown injuries.
Authorities say the driver who caused the crash was possibly impaired at the time of the accident.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
