2 Hospitalized after San Francisco Crash on 80 Freeway near 1St Street On-Ramp
San Francisco, California (August 31, 2022) – Two people were sent to the hospital after a multi-vehicle collision that happened Wednesday morning in San Francisco, the California Highway Patrol said.
The pileup took place at around 5:45 a.m. on eastbound 80 Freeway, just east of the 1st Street on-ramp.
Four vehicles were involved in the collision, blocking some traffic lanes.
San Francisco firefighters and paramedics responded to the scene and transported two people to San Francisco General Hospital with minor injuries.
Authorities did not immediately determine the cause of the collision, but they are investigating.
