Authorities say both drivers suffered minor injuries and were taken to the hospital for treatment

Phoenix, Ariz. – Two drivers were injured in a fiery crash involving a fuel tanker on Tuesday morning in Phoenix near the Arizona-California border.
The 5:20 a.m. collision happened on eastbound Interstate 10 Freeway near Dome Rock Road and Quartzsite Avenue, the Arizona Department of Transportation said.
A semi-truck was traveling on the freeway when the driver lost control at a construction zone and rear-ended a fuel tanker.
Both vehicles caught fire after the collision.
Authorities say both drivers suffered minor injuries and were taken to the hospital for treatment.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
