Kern County, Calif. – At least two people were injured in a head-on collision that happened near Ridgecrest, just east of Bakersfield, on Thursday afternoon.
The accident happened on Highway 395 near Garlock Road at around 2:36 p.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.
A rental truck and an SUV collided head-on in unclear circumstances.
Two people were injured in the accident and were taken to the hospital for treatment, according to the Kern County Fire Department.
