San Clemente, Calif. – Two people were hospitalized after being injured in a car accident near San Clemente on Saturday morning.
At around 11:26 a.m., the California Highway Patrol responded to reports of a car accident on the southbound 5 Freeway near Avenida Pico.
Three vehicles were involved in the collision. However, the circumstances surrounding the collision were not immediately established.
Two people were injured in the collision and were transported to a local hospital in unknown condition.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
