San Rafael, Calif. – Two people were hospitalized after being injured in a that happened on Friday morning in San Rafael.

The accident happened on Highway 101 near San Pedro Road at around 6:38 a.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.

Three vehicles, possibly a Honda Civic, a Toyota Highlander and a Toyota Corolla, were involved in the collision. The circumstances surrounding the collision were not immediately established.

Two people were injured in the accident and were transported to Marin Health and San Rafael Medical Center for treatment.
