2 Injured in Bakersfield Crash on Kimberlina Road near Root Avenue
Bakersfield, California (May 21, 2022) – Two people were injured in a collision involving a semi-truck on Friday morning in Bakersfield.
The accident was reported at around 5:57 a.m. on Kimberlina Road near Root Avenue, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A semi-truck reportedly collided with a Ford Explorer on the roadway in unclear circumstances. One of the cars reportedly overturned after the collision.
The driver of the passenger vehicle suffered major injuries in the accident and was transported to Kern Medical Center.
The driver of the semi-truck was hospitalized with minor injuries.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
