Two People Injured in Oceano Car Crash on Highway 1 at Hayashi Vegetable Stand
Oceano, California (June 9, 2022) – Two people were taken to the hospital Thursday afternoon after two vehicles collided on Highway 1 in Oceano, according to a California Highway Patrol report.
CHP officials say the incident was reported at about 2:54 p.m. on the northbound Highway 1 at the Hayashi Vegetable Stand. Officers responded to the scene and located two black Jeeps involved in the collision.
Smoke was coming out of the engine of one Jeep with a female party trapped inside the vehicle.
Authorities say the woman and another person were taken to Arroyo Grande Community Hospital. The woman had a broken ankle, while the other patient complained of pain.
No additional information regarding the collision was provided. The incident remains under investigation.
