2 Injured in Car Accident on 80 Freeway near Barrett Avenue in Oakland
Oakland, California (December 13, 2021) – At least two people were injured in a traffic collision on Sunday afternoon in Oakland.
The accident was reported at about 2:09 p.m., December 12, on Interstate 80 Freeway at the Barrett Avenue onramp.
According to the California Highway Patrol, two vehicles were involved in the collision. The manner in which the accident happened, however, was not immediately established.
25-year-old Nicole Estrada and 65-year-old Brenda Rodas were injured in the accident and were transported to Kaiser Oakland for treatment.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
