Pregnant Woman Airlifted after Motorcycle Accident on Oakley Road near Live Oak Ave. in Contra Costa
Contra Costa, California (March 2, 2022) – A pregnant woman was hospitalized after being injured in a motorcycle accident in Oakley on Sunday.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened in the 2800 block of Oakley Road.
A motorcycle with two passengers is reported to have collided with a car on the roadway in unclear circumstances.
The East Contra Costa Fire Protection District responded to the incident and found two people down on the roadway.

A medical helicopter was requested to airlift a pregnant woman to the hospital for treatment.
The second rider was transported to the hospital by ground ambulance.
The driver of the vehicle was unhurt.
