2 Hurt in San Pablo Train Accident on Chesley Avenue near Rumrill Boulevard
San Pablo, California (November 23, 2021) – Two people were injured in a collision between a semi truck and a train in San Pablo on Monday night, according to the authorities.
The incident happened at about 8:15 p.m. November 22, on Chesley Avenue near Rumrill Boulevard.
Authorities said a semi truck carrying five cars became stuck on the train tracks and was struck by a westbound Amtrak train.
The cars and debris from the collision flew several yards from the point of the collision.

The driver of the truck and the train's engineer sustained minor injuries.
The train was carrying 30 passengers at the time of the collision and none of them was hurt.
