2 Hospitalized after Crash on Greenback Lane near Hazel Avenue in Orangevale
Orangevale, California (August 9, 2022) – Two people were hospitalized after a crash that sent one of the vehicles off the roadway and into a business shop Monday afternoon in Orangevale, authorities said.
According to the Sacramento Metropolitan Fire District, a pickup truck was driving westbound in the eastbound lanes of Greenback Lane for unknown reasons.
The pickup was involved in a crash with at least one other vehicle, causing its wheel to detach, lose control and crash into the Orchard City Tattoo parlor on the 8800 block of Greenback Lane between Hazel and Illinois avenues.
The firefighters transported the pickup truck driver and another person from the other vehicle to the hospital with unspecified injuries.
The tattoo parlor was not occupied at the time of the accident.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
