Driver, Employee Hospitalized after Rohnert Park Crash on Professional Center Drive
Rohnert Park, California (November 18, 2021) – Two people were injured Wednesday afternoon after a vehicle slammed into an office building in Rohnert Park, authorities said.
The crash was reported at about 3:40 p.m. Wednesday, November 17, in the 50 block of Professional Center Drive.
According to the Rohnert Park Department of Public Safety officers, a gold GMC Yukon was traveling on Professional Center Drive when its driver, a 34-year-old Rohnert Park resident, apparently developed a medical emergency and crashed into the building.
SUV Slams Into Rohnert Park Office Building, 2 Injured
An employee who was working inside the office was transported to Providence Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital in Santa Rosa with non-life threatening injuries.
The driver and the sole occupant of the SUV was also transported to Memorial Hospital.
Authorities said the building acquired moderate damage and was released to the property owner.
No further details about the crash were immediately provided.
The accident remains under investigation.
