2 Killed, 1 Injured in Multi-Car Crash on Highway 224 near SE Freeman Way in Clackamas County

Clackamas County, Ore.Fleetwood Mars Mozee, 37, of Multnomah and Mitchell Scott Barr, 24, of Milwaukie were killed in a suspected DUI multi-car crash in Clackamas County Saturday evening.

According to the Oregon State Police, the incident happened at around 7:51 p.m. on December 30 on Highway 224 near SE Freeman Way.

Reportedly,  a gray Dodge Caliber operated by Fullington William Frazer III, 22, of Oregon City, was travelling northbound on Highway 224 and ran a red light.

The Dodge Caliber crashed into a gray Subaru Forester and a silver Toyota Prius travelling westbound causing the Subaru to crash into a steel utility pole.

The driver of the Subaru Mozee and the passenger of the Dodge Barr were pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver and passenger of the Prius were not injured.

Frazer was transported to a local hospital with injuries. He was later arrested for manslaughter, DUII, reckless driving, and reckless endangering.

The wreck impacted the highway for about seven hours during the on-scene investigation.

The mishap remains under investigation.
