2 Men Killed in Oxnard Car Crash on North Harbor Boulevard near Gonzales Road

, California (March 3, 2022) – Two men died in a collision that left three other parties injured in Oxnard on Wednesday evening, according to a report by the California Highway Patrol.

The collision was reported just after 5:30 p.m. March 2, in the 300 block of North Harbor Boulevard, south of Road.

According to CHP, a Subaru heading north on North Harbor Boulevard lost control, drifted to the right dirt shoulder, then overcorrected into the path of southbound vehicles. 

The Subaru collided with an oncoming Ford Explorer. The Ford was reportedly carrying four people at the time of the collision.

2 Killed in Oxnard Collision on North Harbor Boulevard

A male passenger in the Ford and the male driver of the Subaru were both pronounced deceased at the scene.

The driver of the Ford and two other passengers were transported with non-life-threatening injuries.

North Harbor Boulevard was closed between Gonzales Road and Fifth Street as crews worked to clear the scene.

The CHP is conducting an investigation into the deadly collision.
