2 Killed, 3 Injured in Ceres Car Crash at Keyes and Geer Roads

, Calif. – Two men were killed and three other people were injured after a police chase ended in a two-vehicle collision in Ceres on Thursday night.

The California Highway Patrol said the collision happened around 9:06 p.m. at the intersection of Keyes and Geer roads.

A 20-year-old man was driving a 2016 Ford sedan on Keyes Road and was being pursued by Ceres Police Department officers for unknown reasons.

The suspect entered the intersection at Geer and collided with a 2016 Ford coupe driven by 17-year-old Joshua Guillen.

The sedan driver and his passenger, also 20 years old, were ejected from the car and were both pronounced dead at the scene.

Two other passengers in the sedan, 24-year-old Alexander Rincoln and 18-year-old Jesus Vega, were taken to hospital with severe injuries.

Guillen was also taken to hospital with major injuries.

More details about the crash were not provided.

An investigation into the crash is underway.
