San Francisco, Calif. – Two people were killed and at least two others hospitalized after crash at West Portal Avenue in San Francisco.

According to the San Francisco Fire Department, the wreck happened at around 12:30 a.m. at West Portal Avenue and Ulloa Street.

Reportedly, a vehicle hit pedestrians in the area in unclear circumstances.

Two were killed and at least two others were hospitalized, with one in critical condition.

Their identities were not immediately released.

The roadway was shut down during the on-scene investigation.
