A Honda was traveling north on Highway 43 when it drifted into the southbound lanes and collided head-on with an oncoming Dodge

Bakersfield, CA. – A man and a woman were killed in a car crash that happened early Sunday morning in Bakersfield.
The fatal collision was reported around 3:34 a.m. on Highway 43, north of Pond Road, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A Honda was traveling north on Highway 43 when it drifted into the southbound lanes and collided head-on with an oncoming Dodge.
The driver of the Honda and a passenger on the Dodge died.
The driver of the Dodge and two passengers were hospitalized with unknown injuries.
More details about the accident were not released.
