2 People Killed in Fiery Barstow Truck Accident on 15 Freeway near L Street
San Bernardino, California (September 1, 2023) – Two people died in a fiery crash involving a semi-truck on Thursday evening in Barstow.
The accident was reported around 5:59 p.m. on southbound Interstate 15 Freeway near L Street, according to the California Highway Patrol.
An SUV was traveling the wrong way when it crashed into a semi-truck loaded with 38,000 pounds of chicken.
The impact of the collision caused the truck to crash into the center divider. The driver of the big rig and a passenger were uninjured and were checked at the scene and released.
CHP later reported that two people inside the CX-5 SUV died at the scene,
