The CHP reported that a 2004 Chevrolet Tahoe was traveling westbound in the eastbound side of SR-20 when it collided head-on with an oncoming 2023 Hyundai Tuscon
Clearlake Oaks, CA.- Two people were killed in a collision involving a wrong-way driver in Clearlake Oaks on Tuesday afternoon.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the wreck took place at about 2:20 p.m. May 20, on State Route 20 near Walker Ridge Road.
The CHP reported that a 2004 Chevrolet Tahoe was traveling westbound in the eastbound side of SR-20 when it collided head-on with an oncoming 2023 Hyundai Tuscon.
Both drivers died following the accident.
According to CHP, DUI was not suspected to have played a role in the crash.
The accident is under investigation.
