Two Killed in Watsonville Accident on Green Valley Road and Pennsylvania Drive

Watsonville, California (March 21, 2022) – Two people were killed in a traffic collision that took place in Watsonville on Saturday night.
According to Watsonville Police Department, a 2016 Nissan Sentra was traveling at a high rate of speed when it failed to stop for a red light and collided with a Chevy pickup and a Honda.
The incident happened shortly before 11:30 p.m. March 20, on Green Valley Road and Pennsylvania Drive.

Police said the driver of the Nissan, a 20-year-old, was pronounced dead at the scene.
A 16-year-old passenger was taken to a hospital, where they were pronounced deceased.
A 20-year-old passenger in the Nissan was also hospitalized and was expected to recover.
The drivers of the Chevy and the Honda were not seriously injured.
The crash is under investigation.
